Isuzu D-MAX is one of the key models from Japan’s longest-established truck and diesel engine manufacturer, Isuzu Motors Ltd.

D-MAX has evolved over 30+ years into the leading-edge one-tonne, conventional cab ute and cab/chassis that it is.  It has been sold in Australia for those three decades, mostly badged as Rodeo, but now IUA markets it as the ‘designer original’.  It’s a measure of its excellence that GM chose it and the Chinese superficially copy it.
