The company, which also provides commercial quarry products and services, recently expanded its truck fleet with the addition of two new Isuzu FVZ 1400s, fitted with specially made tipper bodies. The trucks join the 25 strong fleet of various truck and trailer combinations, and have replaced smaller Japanese truck models.

With two offices located in Deer Park and Werribee, employing a staff of 60, garden specialists at Soilworx, meet the demand of their customers through their reputation for expert knowledge and personalised service.

For over 20 years, the company has serviced countless gardens, residencies, councils and commercial projects around Victoria.

Chris Ristovski, Soilworx Managing Director, said the new FVZ 1400s have complemented the fleet very well since they were purchased in October 2011.

“The helpful team at Westar Isuzu was able to tailor the trucks exactly to our needs,” Chris said.

“Not only was the end product just what we were looking for, but the customer service was amazing from start to finish of the sales process, and the location of their dealership is also very handy for us.”

The tipper bodies have been custom designed to hold different types of quarry materials in one load, allowing Soilworx to make their popular ‘3-for-1’ deliveries throughout Victoria.

Equipped with 221 kW / 981Nm engines, the trucks are used for both on and off-road jobs, while the power assisted recirculating ball steering makes getting in and out of tight quarry areas easy to handle, according to Chris.

Another favourite feature of Isuzu trucks is the extended warranty option.

“The ability to extend the trucks’ warranty to five instead of three years has provided additional peace of mind,” he said.

Soilworx is the largest supplier of garden and landscaping products in Victoria and continues to grow its business with a range of innovative services and products. As a part of this growth, the company will open a new office in Pakenham later this year.
