Airpower 50 years

Airpower (NT) Pty Ltd is excited to be celebrating 50 years in business in 2023.

Airpower was established by Peter Rau and his partner in 1973,  it was originally an off shoot of their business Tristar Engineering.

The business has transitioned over the years.  It continues to progress with market leading product brands and continues to strive to always deliver excellent customer service.  

Airpower in now owned by Peter Rau’s son, Grant Rau, who has been running the business since 1997.

Airpower’s success and longevity could have not been achieved without it’s dedicated staff, both past and present.  Airpower very much appreciates the contribution of its employees over the past five decades.

Most importantly, we thank all our valued customers for their ongoing support and trust in us.

We all have been through difficult times these last few years. Airpower was fortunate enough to have weathered the pandemic.  It was considered an essential service, it was therefore able to continue to operate, which helped keep people employed, while servicing the community. 

We would like to acknowledge our partners, Kubota Australia, Porter Group and Ahern Australia for providing us with market-leading quality products.

Taylor and Jack Rau are the third generation of the Rau family working at Airpower.  They will continue to carry on the values, vision, and integrity of the business. Their presence in the business will assure that Airpower, will always be Territory owned and operated. Importantly that the revenues generated by the business will remain and be invested back into the Northern Territory.
